The conceptual phase of Wishplace is officially wrapping up. The entire core mock-up of the mobile app is now finished, which means we can move from static designs to building the actual engine. This is a major milestone in bringing the inverse housing market to life.
A complete look at the user experience
Every screen needed for a smooth user flow has been mapped out. We wanted to ensure that the transition from finding a place to contacting an owner feels natural and secure.
- Profile & Customization: Users can now see the flow to update their profile information and pictures.
- Credits & Wallet: The credit system and top-up flow are fully mocked and accessible directly from the home screen.
- Communication: The full Chat Screen is ready. This will allow for direct peer-to-peer contact between buyers and owners.
- Engagement: A notification system is now in place to ensure nobody misses a relevant match or a new message.
Building trust and compliance
A professional real estate platform requires clear rules and safety features. We have integrated essential screens for Terms and Conditions to keep the community safe. Additionally, we have included a clear account deletion flow. Trust and transparency are the pillars of Wishplace, and these features reflect that commitment.
What is next: Building the functional foundation
The next phase is the most technical part of the journey. We are moving Wishplace from a design into a functional application that can handle real data and user accounts.
The focus is now shifting to User Management. This involves developing secure registration and login functionality. At the same time, we are building the first set of APIs and setting up the core database structure. This foundation will allow the front-end to communicate with the cloud.
I am incredibly excited to start connecting the interface to a proper backend. We are one step closer to making the search for a home much more human.
Wishplace is available on iOS and Android. Download the app.
