The next version of Wishplace is here, and it is a big one. While I have been working hard on technical improvements under the hood to make the app faster, there is one update that completely changes how the platform looks and feels.
Real photos for real properties
The biggest change in this version is that you can now add images to each property. In an inverse marketplace, seeing is believing. Photos help bridge the gap between a pin on a map and a real home or commercial space.
Whether you are an owner listing a place or a seeker visualizing a dream, adding property photos makes every entry more human and much more professional. It allows users to get a feel for the space long before a traditional listing even exists.
Smarter matching and improved AI
I have spent a lot of time refining the "brain" of the app to ensure the connections you see are relevant. We want to make sure you find exactly what you are looking for without wasting time.
- Matching Overhaul: I have reviewed and improved the math behind the matching calculations. This means more accurate connections between seekers and owners based on location, price, and urgency.
- Continuous AI Suggestions: I fixed a bug where AI suggestions would sometimes stop loading. Now, the flow is much smoother, giving you a steady stream of inspiration as you swipe.
Stability and performance improvements
There are many smaller improvements in this version that you might not see, but you will definitely feel. I have cleaned up the code to ensure the app stays snappy and stable as our community continues to grow.
These performance updates are vital for keeping the map responsive, especially as more users start adding photos and data. We are committed to building a tool that is as reliable as it is innovative.
Stay tuned for more updates soon as we continue to evolve the inverse housing market. Wishplace is available on iOS and Android. Download the app.
